LORD JESUS IS CONDEMNED TO DEATH
We adore You, O Christ and we bless You, because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world.

Lord Jesus: I stand before Pilate, although I am innocent. Those, whom I have chosen before the ages and established as the elect over My people as far back as through Moses and Aaron, accuse Me. And behold, their richly endowed hearts turn against Me. When you accuse Me because of your disappointments, failures, falls or persecutions, I humbly stand before you, My son, and I listen to your unjust accusations in silence. I do not open My lips for My defense. No one is interested in My defense. I am a Victim then and I am a Victim now. Acerbic and painful words fall from the lips of My chosen Sons. Priests reluctantly admit their mistakes. They rarely say: “I was wrong and You were right”. They rarely ask what I do not like about them. Instead, they demand signs and proofs of immediate help in every matter; as if by choosing them for the highest honors, I owned them captivity and service for the fact that they answered “Yes”.
See, My son, how misunderstood I am. How infinitely lonely in My perfect and magnanimous works. How few understand Me and appreciate what I am doing for you. If you want to ease Me in this first suffering of My Way of the Cross, stand beside Me and trust Me. Stop accusing Me and prodding Me with your words full of pretense, but defend Me with all your strength. Defend Me against sin, against loneliness, and against yourself. Always stand by My side and defend Me, because you know in the depths of your heart that I am innocent, and I am always accused by Satan.
