Station 1
LORD JESUS IS CONDEMNED TO DEATH
Human life is burdened with the consequences of the original sin. All those who are born in pain of their mothers, acquire their pain and carry it through their out life. This is the pain of separation, of fading, of disenchantment. This pain is of a soul and body, brought into the world through sin. The one who receives this reality as a just punishment and a means of cleansing, as a path to perfection in order to reach life everlasting together with God receives a second life in absolute joy and happiness.
Station 2
LORD JESUS TAKES THE CROSS ON HIS SHOULDERS
The acceptance of this state brings peace to the soul. From that moment everything in life makes sense. Man consciously accepts the cross of everyday’s life and decides to carry it to the end. The entire mystery of holiness is contingent on the unification of our personal cross together with the cross of our redeemer, Jesus Christ, to carry it with love and patience, the same way as Christ did. With the same intention in which God and man carried it, as an atonement for sins of the world, begging for salvation of all mankind.
Station 3
LORD JESUS FALLS FOR THE FIRST TIME
On your journey, there are falls. You fall from the very first step and you will keep on falling to the very end, because if man would not fall down, he would become proud and egocentric. Those falls guard us against this most dangerous temptation. I give you My mercy as a response to your falls, as an extended hand that lifts you back up. Do not be discouraged, seeing the vast amount of them. As many times as you fall, so many times you will receive My grace. Have faith and stay humble.
Station 4
LORD JESUS MEETS HIS MOTHER
For your difficult way, you receive an unrivaled companion – Mary. Just like She lasted next to the suffering Jesus, in the same way, She endures today next to you. Her prayers and Her Holy presence are constantly with you. The word “Mother” relates specifically to Mary, the first of all mothers, Mother of God. Your soul connected to the Holy Family also receives the Mother of Jesus as her own. Mary never departs from your life’s path; on the contrary, She constantly accompanies you, praying for you with a tender Heart, compassionate to the shedding of tears. It is for those tears that I am sending upon you all My blessings.
Station 5
SIMON THE CYRENIAN IS HELPING JESUS TO CARRY THE CROSS
Come to a stop. Take a look at all the situations, when someone asks you for help to carry their cross. You help unwillingly. Realize that the help which comes as a hardship and costs much, is going against your will bringing a feeling of resistance is the very one bringing you the greatest blessings. Rightfully, you should always help everyone willingly, but through the reflection of our own will there always come situations that are contrary to our nature. Value those moments and take advantage of the graces, receiving with them great blessings.
Station 6
VERONICA WIPES THE FACE OF LORD JESUS
Have mercy on people who suffer. When looking at them try to see the face of the Lord Jesus. When you see suffering as Gods sanctifying grace for souls, you learn to cherish and in some sense to love it. People who suffer are elected by God and have a specific mission. By showing them love, you perform a noble deed of Veronica towards Jesus, and on your heart, I leave a reflection of the suffering face of Jesus. The more love and compassion is in you, the more precious is the relic that your heart becomes.
Station 7
LORD JESUS FALLS FOR THE SECOND TIME
You just got back to your feet and you fall again. Focus your sight on Jesus. Do not feel sorry for your selves. Try to rise with all your strength, but most of all with strength of prayer. It is the spirit that lifts the body and not the other way around. In the moments when you fall pray with same determination as Jesus when he raised again after his fall. Do not let anything prevent you from taking another steps. Do not waste any moments on dwelling on your falls. Arise again immediately.
Station 8
JESUS COMFORTS THE CRYING WOMEN OF JERUSALEM
See how Jesus walks among the people who surround Him. He stops next to everyone who has even an ounce of good will. There is no attitude of hostility or sorrow within Him towards this crowd, which magnifies His suffering. He treats every human being as an individual. His suffering is a lesson. It is a living Word, which passes through the crowd of people, healing those who have opened their hearts. For that reason, give Me your sorrow. Let your suffering also be a lesson to others.
Station 9
JESUS FALLS THE THIRD TIME
The third fall of Jesus is at the limit of what is humanly possible. Without the help of God, man will be unable to realize God’s work, even if he were the most perfect of men. My works always surpass the one who has to carry it out, so that he would not be able to fulfill them without Me. Jesus surrenders to this fall so that no one would exalt himself above God, thinking that he will be able to achieve his goal by human means.
Station 10
JESUS IS STRIPPED OF HIS CLOTHES
Denudation, the stripping from clothes, honor, and dignity. Only I alone know the value of man. Man remains naked in the face of truth. Do not become attached to things that the world can take away from you. Your true worthiness lies in what remains after your possessions, titles, and worldly honors are taken away from you. Who are you without all that? Does the awareness of possessing My grace and being My child not give you joy above all that?
Station 11
JESUS IS NAILED TO THE CROSS
Suffering and lack of strength overwhelm the body of Jesus, but His Spirit remains free. Through His prayer, He raises in the Spirit towards Heaven. He treats His body as a foothold from which the Spirit rebound in order to soar towards Heaven. If the spirit of man is united with Me, suffering can not break it. Then the suffering sanctifies and transforms the soul. The more you suffer, the more fervently you should pray, and never lose hope that I will hear you out.
Station 12
JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS
The death of Jesus brings release to His tortured body and His tormented Soul. The world seen from the perspective of the cross seems to be an immensity of evil, yet the dying Jesus blesses it and leaves there His Mother. Mary takes over this heavy burden. She remains to cry over the death of God in the name of the Earth, and She will cry until the Earth will be cleansed by her tears.
Station 13
JESUS IS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE CROSS
Sometimes a situation appears to be hopeless. Such is the case under the cross after the death of Jesus. There is nothing worse than the death of hope, and Jesus is the hope of mankind. In moments full of pain, remember that I have left you a Mother for this time. She is the hope of mankind when God is being taken down from the cross and laid into the tomb. By kissing the place where the cross stood, She reminds the world about the existence of God. By crying over His tomb, She is waiting for Resurrection, and God can not fail such hope.
Station 14
JESUS IS LAID IN THE TOMB
Remember that the tomb is not the end of your life or your destiny. Do not look at graves as the place of eternal rest of your loved ones. Look at them as you look at the tomb of Jesus. Come with the hope that you will see the resurrection of your loved ones and you will rejoice with the joy of their glorified bodies, free from suffering. May your tears not conceal the sight of the One who has resurrected. After all, He has resurrected as the first one, and this means that all those who have died will resurrect. Just pray for it to be a resurrection to eternal life in the glory of the saved. Amen.
