COMPENDIUM 6

Blessed are those who abide, repeating endlessly: “Who is like God?! ”. Who will give us to eat, if not our Father who created us, and for whom grows every blade of grass? “Who is like God?! ”, who gave up His power and accepted what was a punishment, and what was foreign to Him through His perfection; who clothed what was human, imperfect, and weak, in order to suffer? “Who is like God?! ”, who gave up His happiness and peace, in order to receive in the body, which is the gateway to suffering, the flogging owed to the world ? (…) Let the whole world shout: “Who is like God?! ”. Because there is nobody on earth or under the earth, or in the highest heaven, who at those words would not bow down to the One God. With these words Saint Michael the Archangel defeated Lucifer and precipitated him down from Heaven. And with these words, each least worshiper of Jesus will defeat him again. Do not lose hope in the fight, but repeat with faith the words: “Who is like God?! ”.
