1. The role of Saint Patrons

Saint John the Evangelist: People need their saint patrons. You have to remind them about it, how good it is to have friends in Heaven and how good it is to befriend them already here on Earth.
– Does wearing a medal or picture of the patron saint oblige him to look after you?
If this is done with faith – yes, if without faith – no. Sometimes the person who wears the image of the saint does not have faith, but the saint looks after this soul for the sake of the faith of other people, for instance the mother, who by offering the child the image, counts on the help and the care of the saint. Then, for the sake of that person and her faith, the patron acts in favor of the soul, which does not care about him, besides the fact of wearing or possessing his image.
