Station VIII
JESUS COMFORTS THE CRYING WOMEN OF JERUSALEM
We adore You, O Christ and we bless You, because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world.
Lord Jesus: Cry over your sin. Regret your weakness, because if you, My chosen son, fall, on whom should I support My arm? What will happen to those who have received less than you? Less faith, less knowledge, less grace? If my best crops are rotting, with what will I feed mankind? How will I save your children, if you leave them to their fate? Don’t you know that this is a great crowd that can not distinguish between their right hand and their left? Don’t you feel sorry for this crowd? Don’t you feel sorry for Me to forsake Me halfway?
The tears of this station are My consolation. If they flow, it means that I have met an open heart, which opens up to My suffering. I want your compassion. I suffer great loneliness. If you want to join Me from this station, do so. I want. You do not have to go back, because wherever you will go back to, you will not find Me anymore. I passed these stations and you were not besides Me. But now you are and I want you to stay, because the most terrible still awaits Me. I will not remind you of the days gone by and ask: Where have you been? Just be with Me now to the end. Never leave again. Never wound again. With your faithful presence you will reward Me for your absence. I want, I really want, you to stay.
Our Father …
Hail Mary …
Glory be …
Have mercy on us, O Lord.
Have mercy on us.
