God in the Holy Trinity:  Human souls are capable of great good and great evil. I enable them towards good. However, their fall has opened them to the action of evil and has weakened their will, so they would be prone to evil and weak toward doing good. Therefore, the soul who does not draw power from Divine gifts will not have the strength to climb all the way to heaven. Souls who do not strengthen themselves with My Body cannot perfect themselves to the degree, which will enable them to a union with Me, and thus a direct accession to My glory in heaven.
