III. THE FATHER OF GRACE
5. The ingratitude of man and the clemency of God
God the Father: Man is inherently ungrateful and quickly forgets about the graces that he has received. He rather remembers what he did not receive and does not notice the greatness of the graces that he has received from Me. And instead, he is inclined to consider them as the natural state of things or a coincidence, or even the effect of his own cleverness, resourcefulness and anticipated efforts rather than My voluntary acts of love revealed through those graces.
Thus, accept the truth that you do not notice many of My graces, and you consider a part of them as evil, while they are a benefaction for your soul.
